What makes Leiter great is that he can handle high pressure at bats and still churn out 115 pitches. It’s really hard to run him off even when he’s struggling. Not quite Doug Nikhazy level of durability but he’s up there.

I appreciate that there is genuine contempt in the MSU/OM rivalry. I assumed OM fans would be able to root for the in-state school to win a championship but there’s none of that.
