I’ve worked a lot in Tennessee and the typical Vol fan is no better or worse than any other fan base. But go on a sports board and the raging a-holes somehow multiply, go berserk and cast a bad light on all their fans. They have been so obnoxious that other fan bases imitate them with bogus alters to make them see even more outrageous. It is past time to remove alters and trolls.

Thanks it was a roller coaster season. Tough not to make it to Omaha given early season expectations but also just happy to make super regional based on late season antics. This was not an enjoyable Tennessee team. Too much antics with no good consistent play to back it up. As someone who remembers the Dave Serrano years I’m never gonna take a super regional for granted. Onto football season

Yep...if you look at the past defending champions for the last 10 seasons, Florida is the one that stands out by returning to the CWS:
2025 - Tennessee (46-19) lost in Supers
2024 - LSU (43-23) lost in Regional
2023 - Ole Miss (25-29) missed the tournament
2022 - Miss St. (26-30) missed the tournament
2021 - No Defending Champion
2020 - Vandy (13-5) Season Cancelled
2019 - Oregon State ((36-20-1) lost in Regional
2018 - Florida (49-21) lost in CWS
2017 - Coastal Carolina (37-19-1) missed the tournament
2016 - Virginia (38-22) lost in Regional
I will add...Arkansas was the better team and should have won.

Thank you. We have never been a baseball school, so most Vols are not crushed by missing the CWS.

Nah..... I am only 44 so there hasn't been a lot of time during my lifetime that Tennersee has been the big dog, and when they are their fans are without a doubt the most obnoxious and insufferable bunch I've seen.

Thanks Op. Super Regional in a down year isn't too bad. The goal is always Omaha for Coach V though. Good luck to the rest of the way.
