That are blaming Saban for the last two years. Accept the truth, KD sucks arse and needs to be fired ASAP.

Saban would have had Alabama in the playoffs the last two years and the Tide would not have taken so many arse whoppings.

Saban left a uber talented roster and KD has shite the bed.

We were told that everyone left after Saban retired (rats jumpingship, etc.), which was half right. Deboer runs a different system and has done OK. Stop panicking you pussy bitch

When Saban had 1st year starters at qb he had monsters at the RB position.

Saban couldn't win a national title with Tua as a starter.
Saban couldn't win a title with Jahmyr Gibbs, Jameson Williams, Will Anderson, and Bryce Young. On the same team. And Will Reichard.
On Saban's last team, Jalen Milroe was the best player, not qb, but best player on the roster. Let that sink in.

You mean saban the clown that quit once NIL leveled the playing field? As soon as bama didn't have the advantage of paying players and cheating saban quit.

You can spin it any way you want. We all know bama was cheating and paying players. Once all schools could pay players saban quit and said college football was ruined.

The truth is schools like bama ruined college sports a long time ago by cheating.

You can call me whatever you want. You can disagree all you want but the facts are the fact. When all schools were allowed to pay players Saban quit and claimed the game was now ruined b/c they were getting paid. Meanwhile saban had been paying players for years!!! lol Fuggin clown!

Every team did this. You can pretend to be sanctimonious but all teams did it.

You think Vince Young played at Texas for free?
Cam?
Reggie Bush?
Boz?
SMU got the death penalty for the shite, dude. C'mon.

People really expect us to believe that the great roster he inherited notwithstanding the transfers was a tough situation for Debore. The roster was still number one or two in the whole country.

Then why hadn't Saban won a title since 2020??

2022 was one of the poorest coaching jobs Saban did at BAMA. He was loaded with NFL talent and upperclassmen and couldn't even win the west.

maybe because he was almost 70 years old and had already accomplished more than any HC in CFB history when the whole sport changed wholesale almost overnight?

It's absurd to expect the GOAT to win a championship once in every three years. That's just an absurd pace to maintain

Weak QB: strong consequences. he at least had Julian Sayin lined up.

Go look at BAMA's roster in 2022 and tell me you wouldn't expect any coach to win a title with that roster.

Looks like he should have had Fernando Mendoza, no?

Y'all are worse than BAMA fans blaming coordinators for not being able to win a natty with NFL talent at every position.

So what's your excuse for the years he had Tua Jeudy, D'vontae, Ruggs, Irv, Waddle??

He won one title with all that talent too. When they were freshmen.

I don't expect to win every year, but you idiots seem to think that Saban left the Death Star intact when the proton torpedoes were already on their way when he left.

This board said Alabama was done after all the transfers, I'm sure your little brother arse was one of them. Combine that with new offensive and defensive schemes, it may take some time. Only idiots and trolls are upset right now. Anyone in the SEC would be dying for a SECG appearance and playoff win in year 2. Nobody has come close to that outside of Kirby. Are there issues? Of course but I'm willing to give it another 2 or 3 seasons to see how it plays out instead of firing a coach every 2 or 3 years

The biggest threat to Alabama football is the Alabama football fan.

Alabama just won 11 games, played in the conference championship, won a playoff game, and got beat by the #1 team in the country.

He has an almost identical record in his first two seasons as did Nick Saban. Saban went 19-8, Deboer went 20-8. Both made the SEC championship game in year two and lost. And Deboer is having to do it with NIL and the portal, the things that made Saban retire.

Go look at Alabama’s portal rankings the last two seasons. Look at who Alabama lost vs. who was added. Alabama lost much more talent than they added. Simply because there isn’t enough money to pay them all, and not all of them can start at the same time.

In the last two seasons Alabama lost 2 all-americans, the thorpe award winner, a heisman finalist, 3/4 of their RB room. around half their offensive linemen room, 3/4 of their QB room, and 3/4 of their secondary room. Alabama had to start two true freshmen. Alabama had 4 high school QB signees start for P4 schools this season - Simpson, Lonergan, Holstein, and Sayin. It is not possible for a team to stockpile talent like Saban did. Or like Smart was doing at Georgia. Even Saban didn’t have Saban like success post NIL and portal.

Talk about delusional Alabama fans. If you want to feel pain as an Alabama fan, fire Kalen Deboer right now.

Most of these fans became fans after Saban. They don't know what pain is.
