SC def. owns lady basketball right now. lol
Why you loling at lady basketball ... bitch.
Yeah, we're even right now in men's basketball maybe, and you taterheads have a slight advantage in football "right now," but that will be short lived in the long run. This is your last hurrah.
Kingston will dominate in baseball just like Ray did.
Martin is a better coach than what's his name up there.
Boom will win over Dabo's BS in the long run just like SPURrier did.
Y'all will continue to inbreed and hump sheep just like your grandpappies and great grandpappies have done for 120 years before you ... and you'll plant taters of course, and pay players and lie about your rivals.
Ajyways, that's how so.

if Clemson pays players, why did one leave after enrolling early without ever playing a game to go to SC?
SC pay more?
I kind of think Clemson and SC are generally going to be competitive with each other in all sports.
Martin has had losing records in SEC 4 out of 6 seasons, a conference not tradtionally very good in basketball.
I'm not sure why you say he's better than Clemson's coach.

Can you have this conversation without the acknowledgement of ACC vs. SEC?

Clemson got a taste of success in the late '40's -'50's, and when Pell and Ford brought it back, I believe fans and administration saw that it was possible to do well, and began to see Clemson as a football school. Struggling against traditional powers in ACC basketball plays in that vision as well.
South Carolina, other than briefly under Morrison and Spurrier, has never experienced success. If they begin to run their football program like they do their baseball, though, they might. They sent Holbrook packing pretty quickly, and they're making enormous facility improvements.
They need to quit accepting mediocrity.
Not even close you sheep humping sister banging taterhead frick.
Not even close.
Another riveting analysis by Rooster. You're an embarrassment to the good USCe fans.

the other gamecock said SC spends less money on football than Clemson.

It’s simple really. We don’t sell out for football.
Posted on 6/16/18 at 4:57 pm to CarolinaCock
it looks like SC's football facilities are not within walking distance of campus.
that probably hurts with some recruits.
Clemson doesn't 'sell out for football. It has been better than SC in several other sports.

Im not following you with the other sports your speaking of... in fact since you’ve won a title your other programs have fallen off a cliff. To be quite honest this might the first coaching staff of my lifetime that I can re all who actually recruits... that will make a difference in the long run

Clemson is a better program than south carolina and has more resources and fan support. Clemson has higher expectations as well compared to south carolina.

I think California would be an exception as they are well behind UCLA historically. DIdn't check, but I assume they are behind USC as well.
Cal cheats way less than UCLA and certainly way less than U$C
quote:
Florida owns the overall record vs. FSU.
To be fair, both are newer football teams with far fewer early wins. Frees Shoes U was the women college for FL for much of their history.
Miami has the most MNC's with the shortest history so they probably look better than Florida or Florida State.
quote:
UGA over Tech
Tech has 4 MNC's (3 in the SEZ and in 3 different SEC era's). Say what you will about the Bumbles futility since leaving the SEC, but early on they were the better team in GA.
quote:
Bama over Auburn.
Early success in the 1920's gave the Tide the edge from the start
quote:
Tennessee over Vandy
Vanderbilt owned TN early (hell they beat Texas enough at the State Fair that the folks in austin went with Oklahoma to replace the Dores.
quote:
Ole Miss over MSU.
Ole Miss had the MNC's in the wrong period in history for them but they has the advantage early on
quote:
Arizona over Arizona State.
??
I think the Sun Devils > Wildcats in football (but reversed for basketball)

Honest question. Where do kids in South Carolina dream of going to school?
Is it generational? Does it depend who is better at football at the time? Or is there a stigma of where people would prefer to go?
I would think Clemson is behind South Carolina in most rankings, but I don't feel like looking it up. I know their campus is certainly more beautiful than South Carolina's, though.

Both of these are demonstrably false. South Carolina's enrollment is almost twice as large as Clemson's. Clemson has overwhelming fan support in the upstate, South Carolina has overwhelming fan support in Columbia and the Midlands, Charleston is split, the Pee Dee leans South Carolina and the Grand Strand is probably 2 to 1 Gamecocks.

It's ingrained in families. It's taught while we're growing up. It really has absolutely nothing to do with who happens to be more successful at the time. It's literally passed down from generation to generation. The issues between us and them go waaaaaay beyond just sports. We genuinely do not like each other on a much deeper level than that. There are some decent ppl from clem but they are few and far between. It's akin to being a Democratic or Republican. You are one or the other and the two sides despise each other 24/7/365.
And for God's sake don't call their campus beautiful. Tillman will show up calling it a mountain resort with a lake.

I dunno, I googled pics of Clemson just to see for myself, and it sure looks like a mountain resort with a lake. Scar have anything like that?
