Dave Hart just started speaking and it's already clear that it's a bad idea.

I agree. I have read more about this today and what Jones did is unacceptable from an adult on a college campus that is in a leadership role. To attempt to ridicule a young man for taking up for girls that had been sexually assaulted is inexcusable. He should be terminated immediately.

Hart says he was meeting with counsel but clearly he was at the salon dyeing his hair and getting botox.

Alleged assaults, to my knowledge, not a single conviction has occurred.
Pretty much every assault that any college coach has ever been fired for has been "alleged." Court cases take a long time. If you rack up as many as Butch Jones has it doesn't matter if the cases haven't gone to trial yet. But you know that already.

That is demonstrably false. The lawsuit reaches back MANY years/decades and includes non-football players.
So there aren't multiple sexual assault cases that are alleged to have occurred during his tenure as coach? I really doubt the entire coaching staff of the university would be coming to his defense if that weren't the case.
Nice deflection, though.

I find it disturbing that not one but several women decided to not press charges for fear of retribution

I agree and the really tough thing for Jones is that even if he is telling the truth and did not say it it is almost impossible to prove without a witness. If he can't prove that the player is lying how does he come back from that?
