Haven’t heard anything so far, and I don’t think that we will hear anything.. No reason to give OU an advantage either way.

I saw it when it happened and was like oh shite.. then I thought he was getting up.. only to get sad right after. He is a big weapon for us so I obviously hope that he plays.

If I am Sark, and if he can’t play, I consider moving Whitt to TE for this week and put Johntay Cook or Neyor in his WR spot.

Whitt is our best WR blocker and he has a pretty good frame.. I think he could do it.

CB Watts is also hurt, and he is really good, but I think we have replacements for him that are about as good.

At least you know the dumb, overused joke that makes its way around every year. You are clearly familiar w/ the rivalry.

I think it's going to be great game. Hopefully we come out looking for revenge after the severe arse beating they layed on us last year. Here is to a game where everyone stays healthy

According to Sark’s press conference today, Sanders is day to day…I expect him to play…..but, TBD.

This is a thread discussing the biggest game of this next weekend between two rivals who hate each other. The vitriol is strong, as there are few fan bases more scumbag that what you find in Norman.

You can also be entertained by the aggots who chime in, desperate to beat their chests after beating another bottom tier team. One of the only things that OU and Texas can agree on: aggy is the gift that keeps giving. Just yall wait until we are back in their conference and doling our losses to these mouthbreathers. It's beyond hilarious.

I was stationed at Jax and Cecil Field plus my ex FIL was a GA fan. The games were rowdy back in the day. I recall mounted police on sidelines one year due to some trouble.

People fail to realize what rivalries are. Its decades of history passed down generation to generation. All the stories and highlights/events. Nothing is ever forgotten. Its like Hatfields and McCoys - rivals hate each other in a mostly fun way.

Pain tolerance issue most likely, shoot him up and see if he can cut on Saturday. I hate Texas with all my soul, but hate when players are injured. He is a stud, and hopefully he heels up just fine starting Sunday.

This answers the most important SEC game of the week answer. SEC commish will be in attendance. And the B12 commish won’t show his face for his last big reg season conf game.

Heather Dinich
@CFBHeather
.
@Big12Conference commish Brett Yormark is not attending the OU-Texas game, but will see those teams 2x this season. (He's already seen OU-Cincy). He knows @GregSankey is going to see OU-Texas and said he should. "That's his future," Yormark told me. "He should support them."

I know I know, the schedule. But a majority of teams struggled vs lesser teams and at least OU covered all 5 games.

You have done what you were supposed to do....

Texas has played 3 teams who have only lost to Texas.

Oklahoma has played 0 teams who have only lost to Oklahoma.

But lets be real:

Texas has now faced

3 time transfer JT Daniels
Bamas worst qb in 15 years
Wyoming’s back up
Baylor’s back up
KU’s back up

—-

Tx has faced the harder schedule there is no doubt. But tx has not faced a real qb yet. Last year we had a TE as our qb running wildcat, with no backup to him.

This game has so many wildcards compared to the recent past. We are in year 2 of a complete gutting of program amd have made real strides this year. But this game will be the test. There is not one area we have not improved in. BV defenses are complicated and take time. Same as Lebby offenses. Players are getting them but we still have work to do. Next year will be our true ready to compete year but this year is a good gauge its headed in right direction.
