Its actually by the river not the beach.

And you know why the St Johns river flows north? Because Georgia sucks.

Looking soley at TDs scored by Offense and allowed by Defense (tx has the harder schedule so far). Both played 5 games

Offense TDs
OU 31
Tx 22

Defense TDs allowed
OU 5
Tx 6

——-

Through 5 games, Oklahoma is:

#1 in scoring margin
T#1 in interceptions
#4 in scoring defense
#2 in scoring offense
#7 in turnover margin
5-0 against the spread

I’m going out on a limb that the State Fair of Texas beats the shite out of any State Fair in the south.

Is Florida-Georgia the biggest game for both schools? Not a lot of talk about Georgia over here, other than never coming to Texas to play any SEC games.

Oh for sure. But it does tell us they did better than expected by covering all 5 games. Iowa State always has a top defense and we put up 50 on them, most in their coaches tenure.

And regardless if we played great or bad teams this game is always an emotional wildcard. A year ago Dillion Gabriel couldn’t play and we went wildcat the whole game in a blowout loss. I don’t recall tx having anyone deeper than 10 yards most of game it was brutal. And the players still around remember it.

Just like all rivalries its a lot about controlling emotions all week and game day.

Two of Oklahoma's defensive touchdowns allowed were due to fluke mistakes against ISU Saturday early on in the game. Could have easily been only 3 touchdowns allowed.

In the 2nd Qtr, the Cyclones averaged 8.4 yards per play and had 259 total yards.

After that, he Sooners defense held them to 93 total yards and 2.8 yards per play the remainder of the game (the final 39 minutes) to win, 50-20.

The difference between this Oklahoma team and previous Oklahoma teams is defensive adjustments. Riley and Grinch don't even know what that means.

Who gives a crap? Please one of you win the Big 12 and do some justice by the SEC. Embarassing.

Then get into the CFP...to get destroyed by a true SEC team.

Big 12 is a joke. You team plays in the Big 12....not SEC.
