Since there is not a dump off pass or hot route in Gus' offense, you must be lying.
I've never seen so many skipped passes into the flat. Whether bubble screens, RB wheel routes or whatever Gus calls them.
And to be fair to Nix I agree with those saying he played behind a terrible OL. Felt bad for him at times but we went through the same deal with Mond.

there is a strong rumor that Pat Nix is going to UCF meaning Bo may head that way too.
Most people realize the problem for Nix was Gus and his Offense. It was a very simplistic passing scheme that most programs have passed by five years ago. Patrick Nix knows it and so does Bo, I do not think changing the location of where he plays is going to change Gus. Bobo has a lot of talent to work with next year at the skill position, all will depend on how he uses Bo and the WRs.

interesting from a pure football point of view
You shouldn’t dabble into things you obviously have little understanding of.
If you think the QB position did GM in you definitely need to turn your focus to gymnastics or something.
We have had one of the worst runs on OL for a SEC team. Had we had a SEC caliber OL in 2019 we would have beat LSU, FL, etc and won the SEC. Malzahn and his OL coaches failed miserably at one of the most important position groups in football.
I believe it was his offense did not prepare OL for the NFL and OL recruits knew this and stopped committing to AU. Just like the WR routes were simplistic and lame. Gus Malzahn didn’t know how to evolve and was stubborn. If he remains the same he will be at a FCS school next and eventually back to HS.

Imagine signing a bunch of 4 and 5 star quarterbacks and having to start Thurston Howell IV.

It’s completing the pass that is critical..........

Horrible QB. If he weren't a legacy, he'd end up at an FCS school.

He was a 5* recruit. He wasn't rated that way because his father was an average 2 year starter. Auburn fans & coaches didn't rank him, recruiting services did.
He may never catch up to the speed of the SEC but he hasn't been well coached for the last 2 years either.

Bo Nix has some ability. His fundamentals and foot work in the pocket are below average at best. In high school at PV he used his athletic ability to extend plays and “out athlete” other high school teams. This can make you appear to be 5 star. The truth is he has never been developed and when thrown into the fire at Auburn where athletic ability alone does not always equal success in a league such as the SEC. This is where recruiting can be tricky and appearing like a 5 star and being a 5 star are considerably different. Some players still have to be developed more than others.
You couple this with poor offensive line recruiting, development, and overall line play with limited pass game concepts within the GM offensive philosophy, it does not add up to a recipe for success really for any QB.
