I can't believe a LSU fan started this thread. The only possible explanation is that the LSU fan who started this thread is masochistic.

I wouldn't have taken Miles after his 2007 championship season. I don't like coaches who always appear clueless on the sidelines and in press conferences. I've already experienced the results of that twice with coaches like Dubose and Shula and I don't want that ever again. It's embarrassing

I started a thread about this at LSU's halftime yesterday, but it got whacked because I guess admin thought I was flaming LSU for it. but yeah, he's seriously always been so uncomfortable in front of a camera.
fwiw: I'm impressed at how quickly LSU fans have figured Miles out... I hate it, but that'll help LSU to re-emerge from the depths faster.
people criticize Alabama fans for putting severe pressure on coaches that show obvious weaknesses... and getting them fired all the time, but it shows a dedication to the team in the most loyal of ways. I think all the heat Miles is getting is deserved and unless he can make some big stataments next year, then he'll be gone the SECOND a real coach acts interested in the job.
I don't want LSU to kick arse again, but I do sympathize with their real fans.
the silver lining here I think is that LSU will still be one of the best jobs in the country for a while, so you really may not have to wait long to snag a hell of a coach.

Les Miles has won a national championship as the head coach at LSU. I think it would take a losing season to ever get him canned.

If he stayed at LSU for a few more years, that average would drop below ten games. You know Miles is a bad coach. It's almost impossible to even defend him at this point.

A man who claims to qualify as a Head Coach at a football crazy SEC school; what do you think each individual would have to put up to turn this into a reality? Well, 50,000 really concerned LSU fans could each give $300 to such a fund to get rid of this mindless, spineless person who claims to be a H.C. in an SEC school. Do the Math? If only 5,000 of these same serious LSU fans did this, then the one time fee would be $3000 each. I read last night on one of the board sites, someone would put $5000 up. Just saying!

WOW!!!!You guys could hire Zook. Illini land isn't so nice to him and he has ties to the SEC. I would support this.
