Brando is sharp, and JPW has played the best Field General of all SEC QBs to date. With JPW also making the most top-level tosses of any SEC QB to date. And though Tebow may be the best top-overall talent and in potentiality, his arm can at times lack on some throws. UGa, Miss, and Vandy's QBs also have made some really nice throws this year, of what I've seen.

JPW is maturing, and progressing, and playing behind that Bama OL, certainly helps.

I think he's probably third. He is a solid qb though.

Ok well while we're at it, I'll go ahead and rank them in order IMHO.

1. Tim Tebow
2. Matthew Stafford
3. Jevan Snead
4. Sarah John Jessica Parker Wilson
5. Jarrett Lee
6. Chris Nickson
7. Tyson Lee
8. Chris Todd
9. Jonathan Crompton
10. Mike Hartline
11. Chris Smelley
12. Casey Dick

If the SEC is such the bomb, how can we have such shitty QB's?

Look at the top SEC teams. Tebow, Stafford, and Lee (who's playing really well for a frosh).

as far as efficiency, it's Tebow, Lee, Stafford, then Wilson.

FWIW, Id take a freshman Lee over a senior SJPW.

Yeah, I'd take Richard Murphy over Beanie Wells, too...and while you're at it, give me Evan Longoria over Alex Rodriguez.

Dont put words in my mouth!
I said I prefer to have Lee as my QB than soft arse choking JPW. My opinion. And btw, Lee has a higher passer effeciency than Wilson as of right now.

Tim Brando thinks SJPW is the best Qb in the SEC

Wow do you work for the media because that is an over simplification of what was said. Brando was having a conversation with Rich Brooks and Brooks said he thought JPW was the best QB in the conference to THIS POINT THIS YEAR (based solely off of what has been done in September). And Brando said based on that standard you are probably right.

Looking at what his team has done, I would agree he is 4-0 and his team has beaten two teams ranked in the top 10 at the time they played (I agree Clemson is overrated). Tebow stuggled (including an unforced fumble) against Ole Miss and Stafford didn't show up until the second half in his biggest game ever. Lee maybe the best before the end of the season, but he isn't there yet.

Take off the P & G glass JPW has been the most consistent QB to this point in the season.

Brando is a graduate of ULM in Funreaux.I submit that he is not an authority on anything but perhaps Johnnie's pizza and the Sleazesta Lounge. KC.

Lee has thrown less passes than JPW so far. As of right now, JPW has a completion % of 62.7 while Lee's is 58.4. Lee has a rating of 145 and JPWs is 136.

JPW has done an excellent job of managing our offense so far. He hasn't had to throw much but when he has, he's been efficient. His 3 incompletions against UGA were throw aways. He's making overall better decisions right now and he did have some pressure from UGA but he responded well.

FWIW, I'd take Lee next year because I think he's got alot of potential. However, I'd rather have JPW right now because of the experience.

JPW IS on a roll. It will be interesting when he gets reacqainted with Chad Jones. Nobody has touched him so far this year to speak of.KC.
