Would agree with the following tiers?

Pretty much agree with that. Auburn needs to show some consistency over the next few years to move up to tier 1 and UGA and UT need big time come-backs and to win a NC to get there. Arky and SC need to win SECC's to move up. MSU can move up by winning the West.

When I think of the SEC, I think of these schools first.

LSU, Alabama, Auburn, UF, UT and UGA

These 6 schools are the foundation of the SEC.

In my mind, all other schools are 2nd tier

Fair? Well, it's true...just the way it is..

I'll take the 2 NC's and 3 SEC titles to your 1 and 2 respectively even without the undefeated seasons.

That's fine, I'll take two undefeated seasons over 1.5 titles in which you didn't play the #1 team and had two embarrassing losses respectively. I'll give you the three SEC titles though.

Going by the "foundation for the SEC" it would be:

Alabama

tennessee

The other 9

Arkansas

Dude, you are getting out of control....

How many wins did you receive in Auburn due to fortuitous calls over LSU last decade? I count 3!

Please... You had a reputation of paying refs during last decade under Tubby and this decade you have started off with paying players big time money.

Take your trophy and go home with some humility

nah, you'd take the 2 pieces of crystal. No one remembers that you all went undefeated in 2004. Everyone knows Lord Saban hoisted the trophy in 2003 and dipshit did it in 2007. Nice try though

2 undefeated seasons with 1 national championship does not >> 2 national championships. You aren't gonna win that fight

If we won the NC by not playing the #1 team then Auburn won it by not playing the #2 team as well. TCU is still sitting there undefeated at #2. I guess both titles are bogus.

ETA: when LSU played OU the BCS rankings said OU was #1, LSU was #2, and USC was #3. So what if USC finished #2 in the coaches poll. So did TCU.

You cannot be fricking serious. Yes undefeated seasons are special, but crystal is more special. I've not read a more fricking ignorant post in a long time than your post claiming an undefeated season is better than having a NC. Jesus!

I'd love to play TCU, but that game wouldn't hold a candle to how much I want to see USC-LSU 2003.

Why LSU in Tier 1???? Put Bama and Florida in Tier 1... LSU belongs in Tier 2 until they win ONE more.....

WOW. Just WOW.
I would have said AU was tier 1 considering they got screwed in 2004. BUT since LSU did win multiple SEC adn NC's why tier 2? They did what UF and Bama did - well actually better than Bama.

UF actually won 1 more SECC than LSU in that time period, but I don't hold that against LSU because UF had a few more down years thrown in their under the Zooker as well. UF got frickin Zooked!

we can only face who the BCS says is #1 or #2... LSU has 2 titles, Auburn has 1, and Bama has 1 this century. Nothing to be ashamed of but don't try to downplay LSU's titles either. We were the best team in each of those years.
