Baum was packed out tonight. I expect tomorrow night to be even more electric

Coil's the better arm without a doubt, it's just the roles they've filled. We've relied heavily on strong middle/long relief this year as our starters have struggled to go deep into games. Coil would be #1 by far if it weren't for Jimenez being damn near untouchable for most of the year.
Souza got off to a very slow start this year, but had been hitting the ball much better right before his injury. That one sucked to see.

Best friend I had was from Hilo. Ultimate sacrifice in 2006.

Damn… sounds like a freak incident. Good luck to the next two games. Hopefully Texas can bounce back.
I’m excited to see how they respond after getting hit in the mouth. Wood’s coming on what his third start now from injury? Sounds like after last week he is starting to look like how you guys thought he’d be vs A&M.
Good teams respond. We will see what happens tomorrow. Hook ‘em!

Hope you are right, but Texas didn't waste any of their weapons out of the bullpen. Unlike DVH who pitched Jiminez following Gaeckle in game 2 of the Florida series with the hogs up 7-0.
Gage will be on a pitch count as the starter tomorrow night - probably in the 55-60 pitch range. If he's good and Gaeckle follows, I may actually like our chances tomorrow.
Game three, not so good. Cheese is the starter and especially with Wiggin's injured. Plus, if there are any high leverage situations, the 'Horns have Volantis in the wings.
I'd be extremely happy with 2 of 3 and then we get to repeat against what would then be #1 LSU, but this time at their place. Ouch.
Baseball in the SEC, gotta love it!

Sorry to hear. Thankful for that as my dad is retired military.
My sister went to the University of Hilo for a year before coming back home for personal reasons.

Yeah he looked much better in his 2nd outing. He'll still be on a pitch count so you probably won't have to deal with him for long.
Looking forward to the rest of the series. I hope they're all as stress-free as tonight was, but I seriously doubt that ends up being the case.

Makes each team better for tournament play. That’s for sure! Iron sharpens iron.

Yeah, it was an uncharacteristicly off night for the 'Horns. Case in point, we brought out BP (batting Practice) Will Mac in the top of the 9th and he struck out the side.
I was sitting in the stands amongst a large contingent of Michigan fans at Globe Life Field to start the season and the Hogs up big. I bet one of the fans around me $200 that our pitcher would give up at least 2 home runs that inning. On the plus side, we still won and my weekend was free

Went to game tonight, Arlie fans had a lot of fun. Came back to room and read this whole thread. Man LSU fans are little whiny all night, you can Almost hear them crying. They may be more like aggy than I ever believed… I smell corn dogs
. Arkansas posters and fans are really informed and passionate. If Texas doesn’t make run I hope they do. Texas will rebound, however hope LSU loses frick those clowns.

If 200 dollars made your weekend free there you didn’t drink much beer at the games.

Ok. I go every year. Great place to watch baseball but it’s expensive.

Just got home and saw the score. Wow. I expected Hogs to take the series, but didn’t expect to see that box score in game 1. Congrats.
