I'm just glad that there's really no moving upwards from Urban Meyer We've already dealt with Florida at their best.

It's not like what would happen with LSU getting one of these S-tier coaches at all.

Florida was not going to get him anyway. It really does not matter what you or your fanbase wants

Foley is 1 for 2 in football hires in Gainesville. He hit a home run with Urban and struck out with Zook. I think he has learned from his Zook hire which is bad news for the rest of us.

It doesn't seem like Petrino or Mullen are high on any list. Stoops silence on this issue is interesting considering he normally shoots down rumors early. Personally, I am hoping for Petersen. The more I read about him, the more I hope he ends up here.

My wish list

1. Gary Patterson
2. Bob Stoops
3. " Petrino

You sir are the smartest of all, IMO. Patterson would be a bitch for the SEC to handle, especially at UF.

lmao at arky fans delusions. seriously, Florida is better job by a mile, you know it, I know it, everyone knows it. your false bravado is comical.

Petrino isn't a fit at Florida. We usually go for high character family men- usually catholic ;o)

Yeah why not? We're in the Sugar and you're in the Outback. You don't miss a chance to rub the past in our face, so shut the frick up and deal with the present.

Ignore the hogs. Their behavior is expected.

I don't think the boosters want him. I don't want him. Piggies don't think we can get him.

It's a win-win for all.

I've been nervous all day. I don't know Petrino's intentions and don't pretend to. Florida is an extremely high-profile job.

I think you are safe. Petrino, while a good offensive coach, does not fit IMO.

Having said that, if we do get him, I would be excited about the offensive potential.

I don't think he would be able to hold together this class though.

The Outback is pretty darn good for a team who went 7-5, so I'm ecstatic we are in it ;o)

Stoops, Stoops, they keep saying Stoops, but I don't want Stoops either.

This is like Christmas waiting to open the package. Who will it be?

I don't think holding that class together would be a problem. If it falls apart you can just go and get another class just as good. I do think there would be a culture shock. Petrino's attitude takes a little getting used to. There would definitely be some player turnover.

I'm terrified that Florida gets Petersen. He always says he doesn't want to leave, but with his only real chance to play for a title at BSU out the window, he has to think that an opportunity like this won't ever come again.

Even better for UF, you won't find a higher-character guy in all of college football.

I still can't warm up to the idea of Petersen for some reason.

He is interviewing (Petersen) apparently.
He has nothing left at Boise. All of those seniors are gone...
It is looking more like it is either him or Stoops.
