I had a blast this weekend. Clearly CS gets a bad reputation just because its in the middle of nowhere. The Northgate area was a lot of fun, and made for very fun friday and saturday nights.

A&M fans were so nice I found it refreshing when I got cursed at saturday late afternoon by some drunk students. My party were all commenting after we passed them that it was a bit of a breath of fresh air.

The band lives up to the hype, they serve a different purpose than the GBFTL, but there is no doubt that their marching halftime show was awesome to see.

I think I was legitimately scared about the trip next ear at one point... haha
my friends who go there are big shite talkers on the other hand so that might be it.
can't wait now.

Whats the northgate/tigerland comparison?
I was told we have more bars/better layout but Tigerland gets rowdy.

Cripple,

Glad to see you enjoyed your time in College Station. I'm looking forward to getting out to Death Valley and seeing what all the fuss is about.

As far the rivalry, I can't wait for us to get to the point where this can be a legitimate rivalry - we have a lot of work to get our program there. I feel like the pieces are in place from the coaching perspective and our recruiting seems to have dramatically improved in Louisiana over the last few years. In theory, the better we recruit, the worse that LSU is going to recruit. That should hopefully even things out on the field and we can have a good back and forth rivalry. At this point, things are going to be fairly one-sided.

Do we really go head to head for that many of the same recruits?

Yes and No, but our main recruiting competition will always be OU and texas.

It felt like in recent years, Sherman had gone after a few guys we were recruiting, but it just didn't seem like we overlap much.

We lost Thompson to you guys, and Loston, of course.

It's truly remarkable how many Texas HS defensive players you guys offer that we don't, and they almost all turn into studs. Mills/Brockers. It's just unreal to me. And that's complimenting you and critiquing us. How can we not offer these kids (yes, we probably wouldn't get them) when LSU is offering them and we have such an incredible need for defensive talent?

We've done pretty well with Texas QBs.

LSU doesn't have rivals, and that is by choice.

I really don't know what to say about that kid. I'm pretty sure he was actually recruited as an athlete, not a qb, he just does not have the hands.

I've had a chance to settle down over the weekend - we buried a great man, my grandpa, who was 98 years old, and that knocked a lot of excitement out of my sails over the lsu game, and delayed my response on these boards.

If there is mixed company, I apologize and children stop reading now.

frick you ignorant swamptards with the twat of the most syphilitic crack whore that pisses on the streets of New Orleans. You ignorant poons lucked into another Goddamn win this past weekend, but enjoy it while you can... You will never, ever return to the NCG game after this. We will destroy you, and you can't go running away and scheduling buttfricking patsies this time. You will rue the motherfricking day A&M joined the SEC and relegated you to Curley Hallman-esque insignificance, you bunch of boudain sodomizing, dick-breathed, mouth-breathing retards. At least now, the beatdown on Thanksgiving will allow you to lose interest in the game and you won't burn down Memaw's single-wide trailer again with the turkey deep fryer (you know, the real nice one with the indoor plumbing that didn't require a bucket).

Bonne chance, you web-toed septic maggots

Did you guys ever try him out at corner? It's crazy to me that he hasn't had more of an impact.

Love the rivalry, hate the thought of EVER losing to A&M. I think it would be Flagship 2.0 if you guys were to ever win a couple.

I still have an eaTme hat from my younger days.

I don't want to be you new "Texas" frick off with that gay shite aggie.

Texas will always be y'all's rival. Lsu only rival is whoever is trying to take the sec west from us.

No room with Peterson, Claiborne, Mathieu. Plus Shep lacks the toughness to play defense for LSU. He is soft. Hell, he bounced right off Trey Williams on that return on Saturday. Dude can't tackle either.

He can run, and that's about it. Thing is that Les likes his runners big, for the most part.
