Auburn will have 1 open practice for the Scholarship Donors... Last year it was in JH, it used to be on the practice fields or the soccer fields (Tubs liked the soccer fields for some crazy reason).

Are the players parents allowed to attend practice at AU?

I've got an AU friend that says he has seen Keihl's dad posting on some website somewhere that he's attended several practices, and has commented on many of the players as well.

I would think so at any school.

BS. You know you are lurking AE and not some mysterious friend.

I would think that the parents would be worse than the media. I guess ground rules like STFU or GTFO are in place.

If I were a player, I think it would be weird for my family to come visit me in college and not be able to attend a practice. I just don't see coaches alienating parents like that.

BS - my "friend" is a guy I graduated HS with (in west alabama), his son is an AU linebacker right now. Because of his job, he doesn't get make it down to AU very often to watch practice.

He said he's gotten info from KF's dad who was able to go to several off-season practices and has seen him post on a board. He's actually said many positive things about your team this year.

For basketball, Pearl was 100% open to the public. Cuonzo has 1 open a week.

I'd rather have practice closed. Lets you install new schemes without other people knowing, and more importantly it lets the coaches crack some of the bad eggs without the media blowing things up.

Former players can go to practices, I am not 100% sure about parents, but I have seen parents at the scholarship weekend practice.

The first practice for UK is open for Fan Day and the coaches hate it. The rest are closed (with the exception of one of the last scrimmages). I'd want it closed too if I was a coach. As a fan I wish they'd do the Fan Day open practice later in the summer.
