This National Championship Game is the most important game in Alabama’s History, here are 4 reasons why...

#1) Counting the 6 major sports (NBA/NHL/MLB/NFL/NCAAB/NCAAF) in the United States, Alabama’s 17 National Championships is currently tied at #3 with the Boston Celtics..

1. New York Yankees (MLB) - 27
2. Montreal Canadiens (NHL) - 24
3 & 4. Boston Celtics (NBA), Alabama Crimson Tide (NCAAF) - 17
5. Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) - 16
6. Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL) - 13
7, 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12. Detroit Red Wings (NHL), St. Louis Cardinals (MLB), UCLA Bruins (NCAAB), Michigan Wolverines (NCAAF), Notre Dame Fighting Irish (NCAAF), USC Trojans (NCAAF) - 11

With a win Monday night, Alabama breaks the tie with the Boston Celtics and becomes #3 All-Time.

#2) A win on Monday night will make the 2018 Alabama Crimson Tide the only team in history to go 15-0 in a season. A victory over 14-0 Clemson and other wins this season combined with the talent all over their roster, in my mind, pushes the 2018 Alabama Crimson Tide past the 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers & the 2001 Miami Hurricanes as the Greatest Team in the History of this sport.

#3) A victory Monday night breaks this tie for most National Championships by a Coach in College Football History...

1. Bear Bryant - 6
1. Nick Saban - 6

and Nick Saban would stand alone with 7 National Championships..

Has there ever been this much at stake for any 1 single game in Alabama’s history?

My man, Tua played 1- half of football in like 7 games this season. If he played a full slate, his numbers would be through the roof

No they wouldn’t. It would be the first in FBS history. Pennsylvania went 15-0 in 1897.

Except number one isn't true.

You know you don't really have 17 titles...right?

They wouldnt beat 95 Nebraska. Have you seen Sabans defenses against the option? Tommie Fraizer is the best that ever did it and they had a nasty defense. Miami maybe because their style would feed into Sabans plan on defense. Would be great to see it play out though.

Honestly not sure they beat 04 USC. The 05 squad wasnt as good even with all the pub they recieved. The 04 defense was outstanding.

Biggest thing in all 3 matchups would be that none of the 3 teams would be intimidated by Bama.
