This UGA/SC game is the biggest regular season game for each team since when?

I can't speak for SC so I won't even attempt to hazard a guess.
As for UGA you have to go back a ways. UF is always one of, if not the biggest, games of the year but it hasn't mattered in the grand SEC scheme much recently. Last year you could possiby say Boise, but it was the 1st game and non-conference, and we still won the east so it was a non-factor. 2010 and 2009 we sucked. I think you have to go all the way back to the 2008 alabama game for us. Both teams were undefeated and ranked high and it was a major atmosphere.
I honestly think this game is bigger though..UF was insane that year and was gonna win the east regardless. I've said since January the winner of this game will win the east and I still believe that.
And please, I'm begging you bamatards, don't turn this into a shitty flame fest. We all know bama won that game, ok? No need to try to thump your chest over a game you won 4 years ago. Let's keep on topic!

I agree, I think it is the biggest UGA game since the 2008 Alabama blackout, funeral beatdown in Athens.

I'd say it's the biggest game for us since the 'Bama game in 2010.

And with this you have ensured that this will happen.
Huge game. Can't wait to see the shock on all the cock fans faces when we go up 2 scores early.

Wasn't that game big just because USCe won? I don't remember it having a huge build-up, but I could be wrong.

For USC its probably the biggest since #1Alabama came into Columbia. That was also the last time Gameday was here. The fact that we won made it so much more important. First win over number one ranked team and defending national champions. Felt good.

Well, Gameday was in town for that one too, so I'd say it got pretty good build-up.

For UGA, since the black out knock out in 08 that Bama put on them.
For SC, their 2010 victory over Bama.

I would have to agree with what the rest of the So. Car. fans are saying... the 2010 'bama game would have to be the last one.

UGA's biggest game - Alabama coming to town.
SC's biggest game - Alabama coming to town.
Sounds about right.

You put way too much stock in to gameday being there.

No he was just giving an example of the build up. Maybe not nationally, but definitely in SC and Columbia, this game was huge. We had our bye the week before so it was a solid two weeks of nothing but that game. Everyone knew how much it would mean to USC's football program if we won.

The ONLY other two I can remember that brought excitement like this were Florida in 2001, and Alabama in 2010.

For UGA, it was last year against AU. They dont win and they dont win the East.

But they clinched the East with the Kentucky game, so the Kentucky game was clearly bigger. Kentucky was a MUCH closer and tougher game for Georgia too.
