Yes the rest of the country distinguishes Georgia from Alabama. We have real professional sports teams. The busiest airport in the world. How many times has Alabama hosted the Super Bowl? Is Alabama the home of the greatest golf tournament in the world like Georgia is?

Is Alabama the home of Coke, Delta Airlines, Chick-fil-a, Home Depot? Has Alabama ever hosted the MLB all star game? The college football national championship game?

You are tone deaf, ignorant, uneducated, and stupid if you think the rest of the country doesn’t view Georgia different from the rest of the Deep South. We are the only state in the Deep South that is a true battleground state politically. We are one of the fastest growing states in the country. Georgia and Alabama are nothing alike. And you are most certainly over 65 years old with your outdated views

I am originally from the Deep South and now live and travel throughout the Midwest quite a bit.

Based on my experiences with Midwesterners, they view Georgia as just another Southern state.

The Ahmaud Arbery killing certainly didn't do Georgia any favors.

Yet they all want to leave their midwestern shithole and relocate to Georgia? I know several Midwesterners who would prefer to live in Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, Virginia, and Texas because they view the rest of the South as uninhabitable.

We are at 1.2 %. That's right behind North Carolina, Florida, Texas and South Carolina. Mississippi and Louisiana are dying. We are growing twice as much as Alabama according to this map. So, if we aren't in the top ten, it means people aren't moving to our state? We are literally top 12 according to this map.

Well, we all know that FL and SC are held in such high regard among the culturally elite. This must be the be all, end all statistic.

You truly are an idiot. Some think you're just a troll alter. I think you are too invested to be so. You are just shamefully sad at reasoning and likely post as you do because of a severe lack of real life meaningful relationships.

But, it's my shot. Please seek help or just go out and make a friend. At the very least, call your mom; it's her day after all.

Best of luck in life.

Dear armytide, it’s not my fault that everyone things Alabama sucks. And the cultural elite are moving to states like Georgia because they are relatively less expensive and are experiencing high job growth.

Also, suck my balls.

K isn't near a G. Just blame autocorect, right?

The "cultural elite" aren't moving for jobs or cheaper locales almost on definition alone.

You genuinely are a special child of the lord. Go with peace.

So your grads only make 2 grand more and you’re an engineering school? And your most successful grads find jobs in Texas. The rest of you have to live in Louisiana because nobody will hire you. What do you do in Louisiana for fun on a Saturday night? Go to the Piccadilly?

Look at this sad, sad reply. Rationalizing, scrambling. I read only 23% of LSU grads major in STEM degrees.

Well, I'll tell ya...I get down my fiddle and I get down my bow
Kick off my shoes and I throw 'em on the floor
I dance in the kitchen 'til the mornin' light
Louisiana Saturday night

Go to the Piccadilly?
Don't make fun, that's where your mom used to make me take her.

Likely so, but it's assuredly a much smaller bandwagon by comparison.
