And the old bowl tie ins was the best. Controversy is good for CFB. Unfortunately playoffs and NIL will make it NFL lite.

Idiotic.
There will be a lot of talking points and debate with the 12 team playoff. 1) who should get 1-4 seeds and byes, 2) fairness of seeding and matchups, 3)who got screwed out of a home playoff game, 4) how bullshite/difficult X team's path is to a title, 5) why there isn't reseeding like the NFL.

12 teams will be a vast improvement.
I still think it’s silly that a team like Liberty would get an invitation when everyone knows it’s a glorified exhibition game.

Long term it will be. Lots of folks FINALLY pissed off. Auburn only had enough people pissed off in 2004 to give us the CFP. This time, we have enough to get a playoff. Time for Bama, Michigan, OSU, USCw, Notre Dame, and alike to start earning their national titles. It'll be nice.
