They hate cruises but think Destin or Disney World every year is vacation nirvana.

Look at all the down votes you got. I honestly think the Branch Covidians get horny thinking about a repeat of that.
We like to cruise the Haven with Norwegian. You get your own parts of the ship that the riffraff can't access.

I still think some of Tate’s endowment success was tied to pushing more scholarships to black students
My son graduates high school this month, so I’ve been browsing college admissions social media pages the last 6 months as we’ve researched schools. I can say that the vast majority of out of state parents that were posting about their kids headed to LSU this fall were black.
I wouldn’t sweat it too much. 7-8% is fairly mild as far as a bond position goes.
I had about 15% bonds in my mid to late 30s because that’s what all the old financial magazines said to do.
Finally wised up around age 40 and went 100% equities. Will start mixing in bonds again about 5 years before retirement. But you have to be able to stomach some volatility.

SGOV is still around 3.5%
What’s your biggest “what if” when it comes to finances?

I bought about $60,000 of Nvidia in a Roth IRA back in 2018. Admittedly, it wasn’t a “buy and hold” position for me at the time. I was just looking to make a little money after it dipped. I sold it a few months later.
Had I held it, it would be worth about $3 million in a tax free account today. :wah:

Driving drunk through a school zone at 3:30 on a Thursday afternoon. That’s certainly a choice.

Getting that run four years after graduation vs four years before retirement result in massively different outcomes regardless of the individuals’ discipline or sacrifice.
Another huge factor is how you're allocated in the last decade of your working years. The conventional advice says I should be heavy into bond funds right now. But I would have missed out on the biggest opportunity for growth that I'll probably ever get.

Thankfully we’re well ahead of those numbers. We also drive vehicles that are 15 and 14 years old.
I absolutely expect the “live for today only” crowd to incessantly whine about their self-induced predicaments in the years to come.

If I remember right, after the scuffle, the girl turned around to leave when the store lady pulled out the gun and shot her in the back of the head. It was definitely a stretch to call it justifiable.

Yes. Doubt they beat Southeastern on Tuesday night.
They’re not human on a spiritual level.
