Jimbo was promised improvements to the facility and commit to the program. The administration said they would do those things. And didn’t. A$M promised a huge salary and the facilities to win.
He went to the FSU AD and asked if they would come close to the A$M offer. They said fu. And he said fu.
You can’t say fsu couldn’t have kept Jimbo if they really wanted to.
Kelly left ND for the money. Nothing else. Neither team can afford to change coaches anytime soon.

I'm not quite sure what this means. He certainly didn't do a great job coaching last year, but it feels like the average fan can't put last year in context. Relying on so many true freshmen, mass injuries, so many suspensions, even a game with a mass flu outbreak (leaving us with one healthy QB - a QB who dislocated his shoulder in the first half but had to finish the game anyway, throwing no passes in the second half!). It was weird.
