You lost a LOT of great football players, especially on defense. You got back a lot of them too, but it takes time to get back to where you were.
Bennett is solid, but he's always been limited. With the right pieces around him you can win big that's a given but if you have to count on him to carry you for whatever reason I am still not sold that he can.

I agree he’s limited in ability, but he carried us last night, and played pretty well down the stretch in the natty as well
He’s near the bottom of the list in our concerns

Stat comparison for 2022:
McConkey - 20 catches for 266 yards (13.3 ypc), 1 TD. 3 rushes for 29 yards. 1 TD.
Burton - 13 catches for 169 yards (13 ypc), 2 TD. No rush attempts.
McConkey has been more productive than Burton. Neither is their #1 option... for UGA it's Bowers. Burton is behind Prentice, Gibbs and Holden (and maybe Brooks).
UGA is missing AD Mitchell the last couple of weeks and Arian Smith for the season. Both should be back sometime in the next few weeks which might help UGA's passing game get back to where it was vs Oregon.

It happens a lot. Anytime something goes wrong for UGA everyone is like “lolololol bu-but-but diddly said they were unbeatable!!!!” when i’ve always been pretty critical of our team.
