As long as Florida thinks they have the next great Spurrier, they will continue to run and hide when it rains
As long as Saban is around and their sisters have yet to turn 18 and marry the cousin, Bama fans will live on 0-21 or 0-7 or whatever
As long as Ole Miss continues to hide wannabe sex addicts that hide behind a preacher's pulpit they will be around
As long as MSU can beat LSU in football once every ten years or so, yeah they will be around also
As long the Walton clan is around and the third or fourth generation has not spent the billions, the Hogs will be around

Certainly as fans of this tremendous conference, we should all strive for excellence and support the administrations at each institution of higher learning as they develope these talented student athletes across all platforms as they compete at the highest levels of intercollegiate athletics.
LSU "Golden Band from Tiger Land" Alum here. Not as easy as it may appear to non-band people. You have to be in very good physical condition to hold up. The stereotypical "Band Geek" BS is not valid for most of the members. I played all sports in high school until my senior year when we moved to Florida and that particular school (Chotawhatchee in Fort Walton Beach) had a well known and fantastic marching band, so I concentrated on that so I could attend LSU on band scholarship.
(And it happened)

Who has actually "Walked the Walk" for an institution of higher learning in the Southeastern Conference?
