Nah not that far. Have just driven out to Colorado a couple times to ski and South Dakota to hunt. Did the return trip from Colorado one time all at once. That was something

I may be the only sidewalk fan without team gear though

It’s 10ish hours for me AKA flying
@FatAssTuscaloosa, come pick me and my woman up. She’s under three hundo now so she’ll fit on your shitty little Cessna.

I've been a massive fan since I was kid, just not a huge team gear person.
I used to have an LSU hat but it blew off my head and into the water while I was making out with a girl on the end of a pier in Gulfport, MS late one night
That was about 10 years ago.

If you get the chance, I recommend it, although it's not a trip meant for those who prefer civilization. NM and AZ along 40 offer plenty of natural wonders. Even Texas and western Oklahoma have some interesting geological features as you transition from the scrubby forests to the plains. Crossing the Mojave in California is neat, too.
I've done my share of driving up in the Northern Plains. South Dakota is such an underrated state.

I’d love to do something like that but having a 2 year old is gonna make that tough for awhile

I see. Congratulations on your family
Are you from TN? I see you're in Franklin. You've picked the county with one of the best public school systems in the country. Your kids will be in good hands there.

I'm thinking about flying up. I can get a direct flight into Lincoln for cheap from Austin.

I don't know if I'm gonna sleep tonight.

Yeah but FUUUUUCK the drive between Kansas City and Omaha.
That's not a bad drive. A bad drive is I-55 through Mississippi.

I've never been before, anyone have recommendations on when/where to get tickets and sections to avoid.

Never been either. if I go it'll probably just be for a day. I leave Tuesday night for a week and a half so have to get back and pack.

Yeah, same. Have to go to Arkansas for work Tuesday so I'd probably just go for Saturday and come back Sunday.

I'm traveling just a hair further, going to Belgium

I-75 south of Atlanta to Gainesville can suck a dick too.

If we're turning this into the shitty road thread, may as well add I-30 the whole way through Arkansas

DFW-JFK-CDG and then a train to Brussels. Driving up from Austin Tuesday night to drop the dog with my in-laws and catching a flight Wednesday morning
