You can also check out their Walk of Champions on campus. It's a short walk tho.

Ah yes who wouldn’t want to stand shoulder to shoulder in a completely max capacity bar after paying $60+ up to get in for a $5 beer and where you can barely hear yourself think HARD pass for that

Yeah I can have about as much fun drinking beer in the back of a truck

BS
Proud Larry’s is a better and more prestigious music venue (30 years) than anything you got in BR and if you don’t believe me look all over the walls when you’re there. The Lyric also.

God damn. Places from the 1990s?

George's Majestic has been in business since 1929. It was an old bar in the mid 1960s when my old-as-dirt parents went to see bands there. I saw live music there this Spring.

Maxine's on Block Ave opened in 1950.

I forget how lame most SEC towns are.

Music sure, but don’t let an LSU fan order the “jambalaya”

They might riot when the Cajun chicken Alfredo arrives to the table

I don’t know which town is worse?
Oxford or Starkville

I like Starkville much better. Good ole country folks who aren't don't think they have the greatest place in America

The state of Louisiana has the best food in the USA and that’s not debatable. My favorite state other than home for many many reasons. Tigers are my second fav team too again for many reasons.

Don’t want to snub LA music as a state to be clear. This was originally about BR and Ox music. The nation of music lovers loves NOLA obviously.
