I agree. I get that overall it's slower, but they certainly let them play more than they do the mens teams.

You think the refs wanna be there all day at a women’s college basketball game?
Also the refs get really into the crowd drama in men’s bball. Who doesn’t wanna make a huge call in a men’s game that causes the crowd to erupt. They also love to piss the home crowd off too.

Sports from the major college level up have been entirely corrupted by opening up to the Vegas gambling scene as well as media/league execs manipulating results for ratings.
It's something that was a problem forever but has accelerated drastically in the last 10 years or so. People don't want to talk about it. We're in the "it's still real me to dammit" stage
