I sure hope that isn’t the case.

My team is playing their best ball since joining the SEC family.
Cancellations would be unspeakably disappointing for us this season.
But I’d get it.
I wouldn’t like it, but I’d get it.

Well, that's probably better than being a dumbass who thinks caring about football games somehow makes people more likely to die to covid.

Especially among a group of people with near 0 risk.

I know what's wrong with you, you're too busy thinking about why you are better than people to use common sense.

With few exceptions, I don’t think the concern has ever been about the players.
It’s the potential litigation involved and the health of the program stake holders who aren’t young men and women in peak physical condition.

But I hear you.
It stinks.

Too late; once they cancelled/moved games without penalty, that went out the window. Otherwise, you'd have blatant unfairness and the potential for serious acrimony.

Even then, it would probably have needed to be voted on prior to the season/put in by the conference.

Then why do Florida fans keep hoping and praying to steal him away from LSU whenever they want a DC or DB coach?

get that things like this happen but when you have players that aren’t following protocols during season and purposely exposing themselves and teammates it sucks. Not sure why Ochizik doesn’t seem to have control of the team.

VERY doubtful many teams had players out on Halloween at a freaking party. Of course their coaches probably took time to communicate the need to not jeopardize upcoming games.

J. Biden celebrations and Pres. D. Trump protests breaking out on the Campuses, the t-squares etc...et.... .etal...

Lot's of hugging, embracing or crying, yelling and embracing. Not good in our current climate.

LSU can suit up on Saturday. Contact tracing is a bitch. Will Bama take its 3rd string to lose to Auburn or forfeit?

Considering that the Auburn game is two weeks after LSU, we could send our 3rd string the following week to beat UK (sorry wildcats...).

What? Like who?

Unless these "stake holders" are 80+ with other health issues they should be fine.

The guy is a great recruiter and a decent DB coach. It ends right there.

I’d take my forfeit like a man

How about instead of cancelling games we don’t allow any olds in? I feel like that would make everyone happier

At some point all of college football is going to have to make the decision to ignore Covid and get on with life or accept that there’s going to be a bunch of cancellations and delays.

People are completely over this shite and not paying any attention to protocols anymore. It’s time to rip the band aid off.

Bobby Bowden is 91 fricking years old and he came through it just fine. Covid is still a tricky disease that sometimes does weird shite to people and still kills some, but by and large, the deaths now are in people that are in poor health to begin with and who would probably be done in by the garden variety flu. We are much better at treating it and Biden won, so the hysteria can go away now, ok?
