I'll chime in. I think it's sad that you made a username giving accolades to the only 2 national championships you've ever had.
It's not that 2 isn't a great number but you are doing it on a forum with many schools who have more than that number. Maybe I should change my username to 195820032007.

They are just giddy as a school girl because for a large portion of their fans, this is the first time seeing their program being relevant. Most of them grew up where 7 to 9 wins was awesome, beating South Carolina was the staple of their season, and a couple Peach Bowl's was topping on the cake. The only other time their program was considered relevant was in the 80's but they were busted for cheating and put on probation.

I did my undergrad at Clemson, not that I give a frick what you think but just wanted to let you know lol
