IMO Baylor is the clear cut #1. Everyone thinks of them as simply a passing team but they are the #2 rushing team in the country

TCU has been in too many tight games and came back from down 18 last night. Boykin is my Heisman frontrunner. He's a stud.

None of those teams deserve to be in the top 5 so far this year, especially TCU. You let Texas Tech put up 52 in a close game and barely beat a bad Kansas State team last night who put up 45. Not only do you not have a good defense, you havent played a team that has a good defense. Boykin is not that good.

It's Baylor right now IMO. They havent played anyone, but they are OBLITERATING who they have played and are on pace to blow away just about every total offensive and points record there is. They might just win a title by out scoring everyone. Their scheme is magnificent.

Gonna go puke now

Utah looks like the most complete team IMO.

While you are completely correct in saying this, they have obliterated everyone. No other team in the country can say that.

He may not get 500 more yards the rest of the way.

Compared to the teams TCU has played?

please make it stop.... People said this same exact thing about Ole Miss when they hung back to back 70's on shitty teams. Look how good they are now. Reality will hit for all those teams who dont play anyone soon, ie Baylor, TCU, etc

So who is worth a damn that they will play in the Big XII? They are going to cupcake their way into the playoffs and choke on the big stage like they always do.

Who is going to beat Baylor this year? Who on their schedule has a defensive line capable of rushing the passer with just the front 4 and disrupting their rhythm? The answer is no one. The only potential loss I see on their schedule is Okie State because I think they are the only team in that conference with the secondary to put guys on islands and blitz often.

Who on Baylor's schedule is going to beat them? TCU is the only team with a real chance and they don't look nearly as good.

Baylor only needs to beat one good team to make the playoff.

Baylor's defense is a Mark Snyder Aggie level dumpster fire.

Sure, they could win out. But then they'll run into a real defense -- hell, your own team's defense could eat them alive -- and it'll just be another year of "wow, look at those offensive numbers! They're unbea...oh, frick, what happened?" It's getting to be like clockwork in college sports.

And while they may very will get tripped up, the school from the upstate has looked pretty damn good other than the Louisville game. I feel dirty saying it.

As well you should!

I completely agree that that is what will happen. It's just that right now, they are the only team that has looked dominant in every game they have played and therefore should be #1.

Offensively, yeah. Defensively, not so much. They gave up 600+ yards to TT. I think TCU did the same. These are questionable defenses we're looking at here.

I'm sensing a little jealousy. Texas is a shite show yet A&M still isn't the top program in the state of Texas
