There was a time when it was difficult for Alabama and Auburn to both be good.

It has happened in the past but was usually one sided. They used to have to dominate in sate recruiting by hook or by crook, to be the dominant team. Now Alabama recruits against LSU and I see Auburn still giving Georgia fits recruiting to the east.

Things have changed. Yes they still recruit the state, but both can recruit regionally and nationally and be successful at it.

This seems to have tempered the bitterness and nastiness of the rivalry while not taking away the importance of it. This is now a play in game, and it's good for both on the national scale. The west needs to be determined in the State of Alabama, not Baton Rouge. It's jus better that way.

This shite is supposed to be a rivalry. I see zero shite talking. Ohio State- Michigan blows this rivalry out of the water. Y'all are embarrassing this conference.

And why TN is locked in the basement, used to be ND, Nebraska, and TN were the big national recruiters, things are much more difficult for them these days.
