ND lost to the two decent teams they played.
Texas lost to a 4-8 team and two others.
Both are out.
Alabama wasn’t punished for losing an extra game against the team they beat on the road in the regular season.
Sound minds prevailed.

I don’t know, these data points seem very cherry picked instructor.

They’re the most important data points, padawan.

And only had one other regular-season loss, unlike Texas.

It’s unpopular right now but it’s the right move. Bama is not currently one of the best 12 but their body of work won out. And If they didn’t play in Atlanta its not even a conversation

I believe you mean conference loss. While true that’s still a terrible loss.

I said what I meant.
Alabama: FSU and OU (the one other loss)
Texas: Ohio State, Florida, and Georgia.

Texas also went to overtime with two of the worst teams in the conference.

Alabama needed 4th quarter theatrics to beat SC and Auburn…

Oh so you’re one of those guys who just stares at a record and values losses more than wins.

South Carolina about beat your best win lol
Auburn never had a lead over Bama

I’m a guy who evaluates both, and Bama had the best win in the country in the regular season at Georgia.

Vandy @ Oregon
Notre Dame @ Ole Miss
Miami @ A&M
Texas @ Oklahoma
Would have been infinitely better. Instead we get 2 blowouts and a rematch of a snoozefest from a few weeks back

Nope and neither is Texas hahahahahaha

Agreed. ND getting left out was good news and completely fair.
Just a shame Vandy didn't make it.
As an LSU fan, I apologize for us not taking care of business in Norman and letting the playoff fraud known as Oklahoma enter the postseason.
