Having that strict acceptance isn’t what you want to project……that’s predominantly Asians, nerds and nerd Asians.

This isn't the Big XII title game. Every fanbase other than Missouri travels en masse to this, even when their team is a heavy underdog.
Regardless of what Lane said while trying to play 4D chess, players and coaches in this league care more about winning the conference title than anybody in any other league does - even perhaps to their detriment. Playing in the SEC Championship Game is a massive deal, even to programs who regularly have won bigger trophies like Alabama and Georgia.
