The past season has had zero negative effect on my psyche. Hell, even 2010 had a very minimal effect positively. I guess I'm not a "true" fan, because I honestly have very little emotional response with either end of the spectrum. I'd definitely never pound my chest vicariously for their accomplishments.

Thanks for the first legitimate response. Clearly Tennessee and other Aubbies were still feeling the effects of getting big-boyed by everyone in the SEC THIS YEAR.
We all know SEC history, thread is about this year. May have been unfair to the Grinders but it felt like a losing season from all the hype to the last whimpers from Jacksonville. That coupled with the Freeze resurgance has to have them a little depressed.
I can guarantee that even Stephen Garcia couldn't screw us from beating Auburn if we actually played this year but thats another story.

UT was not big boyed. They were Mike Hamiltoned and Derek Dooleyed. It's going to take a while to flush out the crap. The thing about USC-lite is no matter how shitty UT is, they're always beatable. I never chalk up that game as an automatic loss.
