Wow. Yep, the unbeaten #1 team needs to "redeem" itself.

What's funny is you have to get close enough to try.

Bama's defense was better than the corndogs.

We have a strength of schedule of 12. You on the Other hand have a SOS of 36. So tell me who has the better defense by the numbers?

LSU: 7 Ranked opponents (including Arkansas). Out of these ranked opponents their average rating is 12.28

Alabama: 5 Ranked opponents (Including Auburn). With an average rating of 14.8.

No, our coach was just smart enough to play conservatively and let you beat yourselves.

Please please stop arty. Your just making yourself look bad. Why are you arguing over stats and moral victory goal line stands anyway? That has NOTHING to do with what this thread is about.

If you could somehow manage to keep the conversation in context instead of editing the quotes it would help. But why would I expect anything else from a corndog? The topic was defense.

Seriously look at who you played. Describe to me the world of difference. You get to redeem yourself on Friday. Better hope Wilson doesn't get hot.

Arty, you are killing me. Love having you fail over and over again. Almost like watching your FG kicker miss, miss, and miss again.

Look up the word redeem. It will help you a lot when you know what a word actually means.

We will not pull a "Bama" in our own stadium. We will take care of our business and then let you "draft" behind us into New Orleans where we will beat you again.

Guess you really don't need to go to any other site to find a place to start cleaning up the gumptards.. Good luck with that one!

By Corndog do you mean the hypothetical corndog dick that we shoved in you and destroyed your little heart on November 5th with? I think I recall that day.

There is no moral victory. Never said there was. I was arguing defense. They claim they have a better one. I said they never got close to scoring except twice. I said I would take losing to the corndogs twice and I admit I wouldn't want to have to play an extra game and the best defense in the nation to get to hoist the crystal football.

Most of the corndogs don't want to have to go through Bama again. You know it. I know it. I just want them to admit it.

The "system" is not set up to be fair and knowing this should help folks resign themselves to the inevitable. Even if there was this mythical playoff system some ascribe to, the same scenario would likely be playing out. It's just the way it is. Had LSU lost to 'Bama by 9-6, the gurus all say LSU would still be in the top two, so there you go. It is what it is. If both teams win out there will be a rematch. Deal with it. I have.

You could make an argument against 1 loss Stanford. An argument over Oregon could have been made too but a much more difficult argument to make and Oregon would have had a really good shot at jumping Alabama. NO argument could have been made for Alabama over the Okie State/Oklahoma winner though. In other words, Alabama got a lot of deserved credit for having about as great a loss (if there is such a thing) as you possibly could with the LSU game and had a great argument against other 1 loss teams but a very uncomfortable argument against a hot Oregon team and especially against a 1 loss Okie State/Oklahoma winner.

Been there, beat that already. Why should we have to do it again? The argument has been settled this year. The better team won. The better coach won.

Deal with it.

You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.

The reality is Alabama is far and away the 2nd best team in the nation, regardless as to conference standings. It will be a travesty if they are not voted into the BCSNCG. We will just have to wait and see how this plays itself out. The issue I have with a second game has nothing to do with Bama and everything to do with the BCS system.

The context was in defense. Maybe you can actually pull ahead of Bama in total defense if you somehow shutdown the Hogs. Look up context and reading comprehension so you'll know what those words mean.

I never implied LSU would lose. I was talking about defense. I guess breaking up quotes out of context looks cute to sycophants. I'll give you time to look that word up.

Arty my man, settle down with all this crap. LSU beat Alabama it doesn't matter who's D is better. It doesn't even matter which team is better. LSU won and that is set in stone.

I'm a glutton for punishment. I want to get beaten twice by the hat. You want to beat OSU.
