Freddie Kitchens wasn't all that bad. It's the 1997 season that gives him a bad rep but that has more to do with Mike Dubose than it does with Freddie Kitchens. However, the one thing I will never forgive Stallings for (if the story is true) is offering a scholarship to Kitchens rather than to Peyton Manning. According to the story, Kitchens and Manning were both at the same camp and Stallings found himself more impressed with Kitchens than with Manning.

Did you actually watch any of our games before this year?

Hitt was not very good this year but did it ever pass through your head that perhaps it was because he had a very poor supporting cast? Our center was undersized and we didn't have a FB, that makes his job hard.

He was solid in 2007 and instrumental in winning a national championship. Our OL was also strong in 2008. He was a part of both of those lines.. hardly a "worst regular starter".

carnell stewart and hatch. jesus they fricking sucked.

fwiw alem was turrable to but he didn't lose the arky game with the kick. fricking tremaine johnson lost the game bc his retarded fricking arse punched a mother fricker on what would have been 4th and like 20 from arkys 20 or so. he kept their drive alive 5 years at LSU and all that fricker did was cost us a game.

I think Alems was pretty bad too

Are you talking about Andrew Hatch? What did he ever do? Weren't we undefeated with him at QB? (yes, he wasn't good.. i know )

oh no doubt alems was fricking stupid as hell but it was johnson being a fricktard that even allowed for that to happen, well that and les miles lack of coaching.

hatch was horrible, the ginger has a better arm than he had.

Marcus Carter.

Started at safety for 3 years and I think he had maybe 1 or 2 PBUs and 0 INTs in his career.

Manning never would have went to Alabama. One of the main reasons why he decided to attend Tennessee was because the Vols didn't have to play Ole Miss until Manning's third year.

Rick Clausen started a game for LSU. And even though he came back as a vol and beat us, at LSU, he was the worst starter I ever saw. Didn't belong out there at the time.

why jesse myles, God rest his soul, I always felt that he was a pretty good blocking back, but anyway 3rd and near 30 yards to go for a 1st down and rahim alem gets a roughing the passer penalty and tops that with kicking the ball and another penalty and then icing on the cake when he gets to the sideline and miles basically pats him on the butt. UNFREAKING BELIEVABLE.

I was referring to a poster above who said that Myles was one of the worst players at LSU, I was simply asking why he thought that because in my opinion Myles was a good blocking back. the reference to God rest his soul is due to Myles' untimely death several months ago and then my ranting that in my opinion rahim alem was one of the worst players at LSU eventhough as another poster mentioned that it was tremaine johnson that actually started the ball rolling on the penalties.
