I’m speaking to Episcopalians particularly (we’re supposed to be nice). Catholic rules don’t apply.
Episcopalian here and I admit that I've been guilty of doing it in the past but always tastefully done with either a golf pullover or polo shirt. :) ( Most of the times, it's directed at my fellow parishioners who are Auburn fans.) Yesterday would've been a perfect day but I intentionally didn't wear my pullover. However, there was a guy wearing his gameday polo.

I grew up Catholic, so wearing sports gear to church seems kinda trashy either way.
There’s a beer tap in every Catholic Church basement so it tracks.

Nice to learn that so many of my SEC Rant brethren are active in church!
In this day and age where church attendance numbers are dropping it is good to know that at least through this avenue we have some good Christian folks here

This. Was being humorous about the number of Bama polos and brooches I saw yesterday morning. We’re not used to that in September—in Atlanta.

While I personally doubt God cares what people wear, I've never in my life seen anyone wear that type of clothing on a Sunday to Church.
I once wore a beer shirt to Church on a Wednesday afternoon, but only because I got drug to it and had no plans to do so. Friend didn't tell me I was gonna have to go with his family, so not even a church I'd been to before. So damn embarrassing.

Only Bama stuff I bring to church is just a popsocket on the back of my phone with an A emblem and maybe a Yeti, but people rarely see those anyway.

LSU gear to Church
I personally do not, and have never seen it myself at Sunday Church. Maybe Wednesday's, but not Sundays.
Apparently it crosses all state lines though.

is going to church Sunday morning (particularly in Atlanta) and seeing the winning team (Alabama again) wearing whatever gear they have. Adding insult to injury, we only say “God’s peace be with you” when we really want to say “frick you mot#*%#”.
Doesn't matter. I have it on reliable sources that the Lord doesn't even follow college football. I hope this doesn't mess with local contributions.

What kind of trashy church do you go to?

I mean honestly, I'd rather see people in Church in their pajamas than not see them at all.

I’m Catholic. I would never wear sports gear to church. Low brow shite.

Episcopalian. You?
This post was intended to be humorous and sarcastic about Sunday mornings after Saturday losses in SEC country.
I’ll dumb it down in the future and start posts titled “Frick (insert school)” so you don’t have to think
