It’s almost like something happened during his tenure that affected recruiting and allowed players to receive monetary gain.
I can’t put my finger on it.

The Washington coach hasn’t recruited a top 25 class during his time there
Now do coach Saban at Michigan State.

He should've used hookers.

That makes no sense.
You'd have to use an entirely different service which would be like comparing apples to oranges.
Much easier to look at Washington recruiting historically and compare DeBoer's results to that.

You don’t get to play the little sisters of the poor every week like you do at Washington.
He was also going to get to play trash teams like Maryland in the Big 10 next season.

95th ranked class in 2022 (to be fair he had just taken over as coach and didn’t have time to recruit).

There isn't a recruiting service known to man, past or present, that is going to favorably compare the quality of recruiting at Michigan State under Nick Saban as opposed to LSU or ALABAMA and you know it.

No doubt.
There's always going to be a bump just because you're now backed by a bigger brand and have more resources.
This is really dependent on the type of staff that is hired but I could see Alabama dropping back to a place where classes in the lower top 5 and higher top 10 are more common than #1 or #2.
A lot of that also depends on how they look in year 1 and 2.

It's just the lay of the land. How many assistant coaches have become famous for recruiting at a BAMA only to take a bigger job somewhere else and they can't recruit their mother? Brand matters.

No clue, this is the first I've heard of that.

So he can’t recruit with NIL?
