Whats the cause though? No rules have been broken and youre going for LOIC based on a joking comment said at halftime which was not illegal or against conference rules in any way?

All of this is way out of control but LSU needs to acknowledge a few things.
The SEC can take the financial hit, as a whole, much better than any single university.
No matter what you think, any litigation over damages would take years.
LSU scheduling would be utterly fricked and they would not be in a position of strength to bargain with a new conference.
A few things the SEC should consider.
This would be throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
LSU is a founding member and there just does not seem to be enough for this much of a response.
If this is setting a precedent for the future, no one should ever cut of their nose to spite their face.

I think the whole thing is orchestrated to give LSU a little wake up call to their leaders to get Kiff arse in line and stop with all the bs and just coach football.
It feels like LSU has gotten a little too big for their britches and need to be put back in their place.

Or they could pull a page from LSU’s playbook and say “frick you, that’s why.”
A member of the SEC can be voted out by the other members for no reason.
