They are the better team. Their duel-threat QB has always been Saban's Achilles heel.

Actually his Achilles heel has just been a QB that can push the ball downfield. It doesn’t matter how mobile that guy is

Oh I thought our QB and everyone sucks? Its the refs who threw 5 tds and shredded their defense!

If both teams play their A game, Bama wins two touchdowns.

Bama had 18 penalties against them, missed a field goal and had a dumb turnover, player a top ten team on the road and still should have won.

The better team didn't win.

Mobile QBs who can throw are everyone's Achilles heel. Of all the QBs I have watched this season, UT's QB gives me the most concern.

We also fumbled the ball which never happens and handed you 7 points. We drove 50 yards in 18 seconds to beat you. You could not stop a nose bleed Saturday and it wouldn't change in a rematch.

Dumbassery on this board is at an all-time high.

That is the narrative some are pushing but anyone who knows football knows UT was the better team. Alabama had to play extra aggressively to try to slow them down.

I don't know. I think it's safe to say that either team could win a re-match because either team could've won that game. Re-matches often favor the team that got beat though because it's easier to fix what you did wrong than it is to execute what you did right perfectly again while also improving on it. We'd have several starters that we didn't have this game for a re-match though and that might make a difference.

But my point is I don’t agree with the narrative that it’s always been or even ever really been a mobile QB that hes struggled with.

Manziel got him and an OSU QB but for the most part I’ve seen QBs just straight up torch Bamas shitty secondary over the years.

You can’t beat them in the trenches but if your OL can hold up for enough time to push the ball downfield you can throw for as many as you want. I don’t think a mobile QB is necessary at all

I called this Bama line before the game was played, lol. Need to bump that list: 1) muh refs; 2) muh QB not 100%; 3) we beat ourselves.

Agreed.

Tennessee's still gotta beat Georgia in Athens but they can do it.

But in a rematch in Atlanta, I really like our chances. We just have to win out to get their ourselves. Won't be easy.

Do you think Bama would commit 17 penalties in a rematch? Do you think a rematch on a neutral field would be different? As far as one team stopping the other, neither did that.

You all seem to forget that Tennessee was missing it's number one WR and two starters in the secondary. ffs. We shouldn't have win that game on paper. A fully healthy Tennessee would win by 2 plus tds.

So did Tennessee’s secondary impress you?

Maybe. I wouldn't count out a scorned Saban tho...

I haven’t forgotten anything. I ask a couple of questions which you avoided answering.
