Not sure about the POS because he's a good person off the field but on the field... He's just not that good anymore.

Yeah, and then the umpire ejects the pitcher who retaliated. If a pitcher throws at a guy's head in retaliation, it almost always results in a multi game suspension. Yet again, someone fails miserably trying to defend Thug Spikes.

I remember several times this year (most notably Santana) who threw at someone and was not ejected NOR suspended.

Fact is thUGA started with the cheap shots. So Spikes tries to get even without drawing a penalty. What he did may look bad, but he was doing it for his QB. If the thUGA players can't take fair and equitable pay-backs, they shouldn't dish it out to start with.
You may not agree with eveything I say but you gotta admit, I'm an unbiased observer who is dead on the money with this one.

Gatorrocks and all the UF supporters of Spikes...One Question and please answer truthfully - What if someone, say a Georgia player tried to poke/pull/gauge Tebows eyes the way Spikes did to the Georgia player - What would be your reaction? Again, please answer truthfully, if that is possible...For some reason or another, you seem to think its okay for Spikes to act that way...How can you excuse Spikes' actions? It was down right dirty and classless...

Guys, it was clearly a muscle spasm. I really don't believe that Spikes is the sort of fellow to do such a filthy, flea ridden, hateful, absurd, dirty, despicable, deplorable, villianous act.... I bet if you look into his family history, you could find muscle spasms in there somewhere right?

Right! Fact is that neither one of us are announcers / analysts for any major network. Just internet message board junkies on the rant. That doesn't get us paid and no one outside of our mirrors cares what we think.
I was simply pointing out that the announcers, who ARE paid to give their opinions during the game, said it was a late hit. Obviously it didn't draw a flag. Nor did the Spikes incident.

Watch it again. The RB is still moving forward when Tebow was hit. This is not even close.

I guess you didn't watch the game, because they actually DID GET TO TEBOW'S eye.
I don't excuse Spikes, but I'm not holier than thou, and pretend that our players are perfect. The GAg fans are such freaking hypocrites. And LSU, and BAMA fans acting outraged about Spikes, and failing to mention any of the bush league dirty UGAg playing are hypocrites as well.
