It's not the actual games, but there was some bad blood between the two schools back when we were still in the Metro with Virginia Tech. Supposedly VT wanted the Metro to form a football conference and we (back then being primarily a basketball school) didn't and it caused some bad blood. That's at least what I heard.
In the very least we have more history with VT than UVA.

Would you not agree that it's probably not likely for me to be racist when I have friends in all races? If I was a racist I seriously doubt I would want to hang out with people who are a different race than I. Typically most racists like to keep to their own race. It's not hard to figure out.

Of course my jimmies would be rustled too if my school had a pretty good year in sports but it still doesn't eclipse anything the Flagship School of Kentucky has done.
The reality is this is little brother syndrome at it's best. When you can't actually acknowledge that your school is second best to another school in state you start busting out the racist card, the cheating card, and anything else to deflect from the actual argument.

We are so jealous of a school that has never been to the pinnacle in 3 of the 4 major sports, while we have been to the pinnacle in all 4 major sports. Yep we are jealous all right, lol.

When you have to quote women's final 4 appearances and add stipulations to what you can count as actual victories in football, then it's obvious who little brother is.

BluegrassBelle you are such an idiot, if you look at our records we did not have an official UofL football team until the 1946 season under Frank Camp. The teams before that were glorified intramural teams, on the same level as local YMCA teams.
How would you like it if we started playing your intramural team (in addition to your official team) beat them and count that in the series?
