The true facts to us message boarders is we have no idea. The true fact is the year was very up and down, Harsin was 2-3 plays away from beating Bama and being 9-3 and he was 2-3 plays away from being 4-8.

Harsin will need to win the bowl and pull in a top 20 recruiting class or he is on a very hot seat in 2022 due to the way this year has shaken out.

he wasn’t losing his best 2 players to the transfer portal
Since there was no xfer portal in 2007, this is kind of a red herring.

Harsin also has the ability to dip into the transfer portal.

Not defending the Barn here, just saying that next year will tell the tale on Harsin.

Exactly. And it is because of my experiences, during the Bielema and Morris experiments, that I can recognize the stages. Been there, done that.

If things keep trending the way they are now, that sentence will likely read very differently.

Harsin’s name wasn’t just mentioned on message boards. He’s agent was definitely floating his name. Could it be just to make him seem wanted to the Auburn BOT? Yeah sure. None of the jobs wanted him though so we will never fully know.

Of course because you know his agent, and how Harsin feels. Truth be told if he really really wanted to go, he couldve. Agents are gonna be agents, but the fact that he stayed and stood up to the pat and bo nix’s of the world, shows me he got guts.

Guts aint gonna win no ball games, but im telling yall his performance against Saban is speaking volumes with recruits right now.

Then there are key coaches and staff members on the move which in turn, has some recruits looking at Harsin and Auburn harder.

I think the “Harsin is not happy” is mere propaganda and negative recruiting to make things seem worse than they are.

Our staff is recruiting unlike any ive ever seen at Auburn. They are literally everywhere.

Don't forget the story about Jordan not making the varsity basketball team.

Why do you keep saying this? None of the big jobs had interest in him. Could he have gone to a group of 5 school to get away? Yeah sure. I don’t think he wants to do that though.

Yeah sure, it was Harsin selling himself to go to Oregon and Washington. Thats dumb asf. Peterson was involved in the coaching search and wanted Harsin. Harsin and Oregon was never a thing, it WAS a thing when he was at Boise but again, twitter warriors and message board fodder, made it more than it was.

Harsin turned down Washington, and never had a conversation with Oregon so as I said, if he wanted to leave, he wouldve.

Is he at Washington? No

Was he a candidate? Absolutely

Does the HC they hired have a better HC resume than Harsin? No

Was peterson involved in the coaching search? Yes

Does Harsin have ties with Peterson previously? Obviously

Dont make this harder than what it is.

Absolutely. I’m not saying they can get number 1 classes but they have pipelines in UGA, Florida, and Alabama that will yield a top 15 class every year if you are getting after it in recruiting.

And the best team you ever fielded in your school’s history only beat Auburn by 3. What are you saying?

Im saying LSU is a hard team to beat regardless of the year.
