This.

In the last two seasons LSU's Defenses have taken down UO, WVU, and aTm with arguably the three strongest offensive minds in the game. In all 3 games the LSU D has given up a decent amount of yards, and forced an absurd amount of turnovers. At some point that is just not a coincidence, and it isn't just unforced errors by the other players, unless they just shite themselves looking at the freaks LSU lines up on D. LSUs Defense has arguably the best track record against these offenses in the entire country.

This is spot on. We shut motherfrickers down. You may get some yardage, but you ain't scoring much. I'm sick of hearing "if it wasn't for the 4 turnovers...". It's not a coincidence. Our D is fricking dominant. It's what we pride ourselves on. Defense. There's a reason for the saying "Defense wins championships".

aTm, your offense is great. Our defense is just better. Bama's D sucks. No one puts up big points on LSU. No one. I can't remember the last time someone put up over 40. Maybe Arky in an OT game 5 or 6 years ago. I don't know.

I've already conceded the fact that you belong in the SEC, but if you want to "belong" with the Big 6 you need to win a NC. If we aren't in the running for the NC we are fricking furious. Like I am right now.

La. Tech is going to finish in the top 15 if they win their bowl. They'd put up 400-500 yards on you, too.

So did West Virginia and Oregon.

Yeah, they have awful defenses. We don't.

You don't have a SECCG defense, and if you did, your offense would cost them in the end.

IMO, that's all you can ask for. Because it's all you're ever going to get with that style of offense.

So you're saying the entire SEC will be spending this offseason adjusting to suck arse newbie A&M?

I'd call this season a success.

Our defense (and offense) is more highly ranked in nearly every category than Auburn's was in 2010. In fact, our scoring defense is better than five of the SEC champions since 2000, and our offense better than all of them.

In a year or two, when Manziel is as unstoppable as Cam was, we'll be a serious contender for everything.

Intelligent football fans can have a discussion about games that isn't just the final score, but that might be asking too much. If you try to it's automatically assumed you're making up butthurt excuses for your loss.

For the 50th time, we lost fair and square, nobody's making up excuses. It's just funny how the result of a single defensive play at the end of the game can make the perception about the offense that is sitting on the side line.

Sounds like an Arky fan. Just wants to be competitive.

aTm did not even come close to beating LSU. Every single person in that stadium knew the game was in hand for LSU. Saying otherwise is total bullshite.

I dont think Manziel is going to be able to put up these kind of numbers again next year. A&M is going to have to establish a run game, instead of using JFF for all of their offense.

And JFF won't be new to anyone next year.

I hope you aren't referring to the LSU loss.

Well, I agree.

I thought your Cotton Bowl season was a success last time, even in defeat to LSU.

So, your Cotton Bowl victory over Texas should be better than that.

Give Manziel credit. Nobody saw him coming. Not even the Aggies. But, if you want to really matter when it's all said and done, you better get better on D, and take some pressure off that kid. He's not as physical as Cam Newton or Tebow, but he's got the heart, for sure.

I don't want to embarrass you, but you might want to go loom at the stats since Miles got there. LSU has given up 24 or more a number of times. Since Saban got to Bama, they have given up 24 or more much less often.

So does it make it easier or harder to take that we went out and did something that your team can't do: beat Bama in a game that matters.

Um...

If Mike Evans doesn't tip up a perfectly thrown ball, it's a footrace to the endzone.

If Trey Williams cuts back his 80 yard kick return, he scores.

If our kicker doesnt miss an XP and two FGs, it's a different game.

A&M was a single play away from beating LSU.

Our defense is better than Auburn's was. It's also better than nearly half of the SEC champion defenses since 2000.

Don't mind facts, though.

I could just say 24-19, but I won't.

Don't you realize we are happy as frick you beat Bama. It is hard to deal with you guys on here, but hey it is what it is.

We are the winningest SEC program of this millenium. I'll say this one more time. We are not happy unless we are competing for the NC. I'm glad you guys are happy with your season. We aren't happy with ours and we're ranked higher than you and beat you. That's the difference in our programs right there.

What people are saying is atm came in with the type of offense they did and surprised teams....next yr "every" team will prepare that much harder cause now atm has the sec's attention this yr....bama with exception of their o line has a young team and to me shoulda beat atm....

Next yr every sec team will be looking to tee off on atm.....and I agree without a top notch run stoping d , atm will not win a sec title....1 in 7 chances atm wins one

Lot of fricking "ifs" in there. I'm going to advise you go ahead and edit that post and just delete the whole damn thing. You're embarrassing yourself.
