Even if LSU offered but no money exchanged what difference would it make. There's no proof other than hear say.

This is just dumb azz. He declined out of principle, but really because he was afraid he would get caught?

Ricky's dad said. "It was a lot higher than that." Chester Jones said the offers grew as high as $600,000 for his son's signature on a national letter of intent – one SEC school and one ACC school said they'd double any offer – but he declined them all out of principle and the fear of inevitably getting caught.
Don't believe it. I can't believe that first, they were offered all that, and second, there's no way anyone would turn that down. Even if they get caught, what would happen to the player or family that accepted the money? Nothing. The family would get a dumpload of money while their kid is in college (he's making money for himself too) and then he's off to the NFL. School is the one that gets hit by the shitstorm.

I believe it, but not for that much money. I could see it for $20-50K, but $100k+, no way.

According to Rivals, if it wasn't LSU, it was Auburn

Auburn was the only other SEC school that offered him.

Well, well, well.
Where there is smoke there must be fire. Clearly if MSU offered him money, TAMU must have. Logic tells us that when we brought TAMU into the SEC with 7 probations (same as Auburn) they were going to cheat like crazy. They have more money. Now the NCAA knows who they believe is the bagman, there is a tape which I heard and will play on the radio, yada yada yada.
It is all BS, everyone cheats, stop the everyone buys players BUT my team BS.
