Lol. No it isnt. Sure there are some parts that arent so safe but thats any city. Nola is also a very old city with alot of history and culture. New orleans also has alot of nice areas as well.

New orleans has hosted more superbowls than any city in the country other than miami. Nola has hosted 10 and miami 11.

Its hosted final 4s and sporting events upon other bigtime events such as mardi gras and other festivals that attract millions of people. It has the accomodations and attractions to compete with any city in america when it comes to hosting events. One of the best food cities in america as well. The party atmosphere and culture in new orleans is unmatched. Nola has alot going for it when comparing cities for hosting events.

Move the SEC championship game to NOLA! Tired of the Atlanta home game for UGA.

1. Wouldn't that be a home game for LSU?
2. Why would an Aggie care?

Rose Bowl by 1000 miles. New Orleans was once a great town but is now the welfare baby of host cities. Pasadena is better in everyway even in California.

Agreed. Nothing holds a candle to the Rose Bowl.

Phoenix/Fiesta Bowl is #2 for me and Miami/Orange Bowl is #3.

Sucks the game doesn't start until 7:45 PM local time

Have to bow down and accomodate the Rose Bowl so they can get that sunset on TV.

OP, you don't travel much, do you? In preparation for next year's Super Bowl, the Superdome has undergone extensive renovations.
