NOLA crime is down with State police patrolling and city is being cleaned up for Super Bowl and the Superdome is much nicer now that it has been renovated. Rose Bowl looks good on TV but the actual experience is way overrated. Sugar Bowl has been site of many more meaningful games in college football history and it is special to The SEC. The Sugar Bowl on New Years Night is the best of all the bowls and NOLA is a great host city

This is absolutely FACT.

Not sure why UGA fans want to argue with this. They are so jealous of New Orleans that it’s pathetic. They prefer some monolithic void of a city like shite tier Atlanta.

No one outside of Georgia can stand that place. It’s like the Mumbai of the south it’s so crowded.

1. Noticed you didn't answer his question.
2. We are in the playoffs and Alabama is in the ReliaQuest Bowl. So.....

Maybe Alabama can talk trash to Geo....oh wait. Alabama fans have been already. So, Alabama fans: "It's ok to talk trash to Georgia!" "It's incomprehensible for anybody to talk trash to Alabama fans!"

I was obrn in Baton Rouge and went back there as an adult for another 3 1/2 years. I would rather take a poke in the eye with a sharp stick than go to Nawlins.

I'll just leave statistics here for you:

Murder rate per capita:

New Orleans-39.50 (4th in nation)
Atlanta-16.41 (20th in country)

Rape per capita:
New Orleans-144.67 (1st in nation)
Atlanta-59.59 (46th in nation)

Aggravated Assault per capita:
New Orleans- 608.13 (19th in nation)
Atlanta-567.16 (22nd in nation)

*FBI website
The following table of United States cities by crime rate is based on Federal Bureau of Investigation Uniform Crime Reports (UCR) statistics from 2019 for the 100 most populous cities in America that have reported data to the FBI UCR system.[1]

Gee. I wish Atlanta had all the excitement New Orleans has.
What a great place! They have to have the State Patrol in their cities to maintain what little law and order they have.

And y'all's argument is actually that crime is down.

And New Orleans will always be considered a better city for sports and anything else you want compare to Atlanta.

Your NFL team has the fan base of the chargers and nobody really cares. It’s a hell of a stadium that nobody really cares about.

The superdome has hosted more SB’s for a reason. It’s a great sports town and will always be ranked ahead of Atlanta.

ATL and NOLA are both great cities to host sporting events. I think we can all agree Rose Bowl/ LA overrated as a destination and Sugar Bowl is a better experience for fans

Probably explains why the College Football Hall of Fame is located in New O...oh. Wait.

Always is a long time. And it still doesn't change the statistics I posted. I wonder why you didn't address the crime issue?

New Orleans is the welfare baby of host cities. shite stadium, dangerous city, New Orleans was unique 30 years ago but now several cities have newer nicer infrastructure and plenty of places to party without getting shawshanked by thugs and hoodlums.

New Orleans is a city that is dying not so slowly. The Saints and Pels will be sold and moved when old lady Benson dies. Her husband had to threaten to move the Saints to Mississippi and San Antonio to get stadium upgrades.

Louisiana and the NOLA metro area is losing population. I'd say half of the IED craters I saw in Iraq and Afghanistan were smaller than the average NOLA pothole. The government is corrupt from the nutria catcher to the Governor. The city couldn't even support a minor league baseball team. Since the Hornets moved to New Orleans, the Pels have the lowest attendance of any NBA team.

The NHL will almost certainly be adding an expansion team to Atlanta in the next couple of years once the arena in Alpharetta is built. MLB nor the NHL is considering expanding to NOLA.

The St. Louis Saints has a nice ring to it, and they could stay in the NFC South.

I have no problem with new Orleans for hosting sporting events. It does offer a lot. Atmosphere. History. Food. Etc. I don't care for it as a city as a whole, but for sporting events i can easily see why people would enjoy going there.

The SEC Championship game needs to be in the Super Dome, or at the very least rotated and moved out of Atlanta permanently. Nothing unique or noteworthy about that shite hole.

You won't have to worry about going to either city for a major bowl of SECCG for the foreseeable future.
