Going back and listening to The Dollar. No doubt in my mind Jamey Johnson is the best country has to offer right now.

Not at all. Just really flat in the delta where most MS catfish operations are. Majority of them are in Yazoo, Humphreys, Sunflower and Leflore counties.
There are also a lot of farms in East MS southeast of Starkville down towards Demopolis in the Black Belt.
If you haven't worked on a catfish farm before though, I would advise finding a summer job on one. Hands on is completely different than what they teach you in school

I'm going to try to find one this summer. Either working for the University fish production units, or on a private farm in the south.

Yeah the dude didn't make it the easy way to say the least. His songwriting is just so far beyond anything else going on right now it's sad. Hell he's better than a lot of the legends we hold in such high esteem when you really step back and look at it as purely music, without letting nostalgia and prejudice influence you.
