How is Memphis a larger media market than the entirety of Missouri? Memphis is an afterthought to UT.

With ESPN and SECN the concept of the TV market is null. Nobody broadcast regional games anymore. Now it’s about better matchups to get folks to watch the games.

Virginia is a better fit geographically, with better recruiting and highschool ball. With a little push they couple be competitive in the east with a better experience for fans, more folks turning on the TV, more kids playing football. You would own the market from North Carolina to Pennsylvania and the recruiting.

Virginia? UVA wants nothing to do with the SEC and never will. My brother went to UVA Law and trust me, they wouldn't even think twice. They would head to the B1G before giving the SEC a glance.

I don’t want to get shot going to games in Memphis.

Baton Rouge is dangerous enough.

No one would be happier about that than me. I'd love to be in the real conference, Big 10, where English is spoken, there are no kitchen appliances on porches, and the conference states are not competing for the lowest health indicators, highest per capita fatness, lowest educational level, and highest poverty numbers.

But, oh no...we done gots football teams what done makes us feel reel gud.

But, but our athletes who otherwise wouldn't have had the grades to attend college are faster than yours! Suck it!

I agree. At the end of the day overlap matters. The SEC would be better served repealing the invitation to OU/tu and extending and invitation to Virginia and UNC.
