re: The SEC needed a humbling. Saban & Kirby propped up the entire conference for too long.

People are losing their minds over a single game.

Tennessee got beaten by the better and more talented team in a road game. FWIW the SEC underachieving this year was largely a function of more talented teams getting beaten when they were outcoached.

Talent and facilities weren't the issues. Hell, there are still two SEC teams in contention and both have a good chance to make the final four

Yeah, bc the Big 10 is loaded with the best coaches - LMAO - so Kirby, Sark, Kelly, Freeze, DeBoar, etc can’t match Big 10 coaches?

I think James Franklin is a better coach than Heupel.

Heupel couldn’t do at Vandy what Franklin did.

Mississippi State is punching way above their weight in high school recruiting.

The Big 10 is running circles around the SEC in revenue which is translating to talent acquisition. “It just means more” doesn’t translate to the bottom line.

Huh?

Ohio State has always been a top flight program loaded with talent. They won a title in the playoff era and have consistently been in the mix. The other team is Oregon, which has more NIL money than any other school.

Indiana got destroyed and Penn State looks exactly like James Franklin teams do: physically sound but unable to compete with upper echelon teams.

Not sure why an above average Tennessee team getting beat by OSU is some indictment on the conference.

Freeze isn’t terrible - that’s a lie. He might be struggling at Auburn but he had a good recruiting class and is a proven coach.

Big 10 schools bring in more revenue from their tv contracts. It has has nothing to do with beating Tennessee. Hells bells Tennessee hasn’t been relevant in the sec til this year and it was marginal at that.

Alabama received theirs against Oklahoma and Vandy this year. They didn't need another azz kicking in the playoffs. We new we needed a major revamping and cleansing of the cancers.
