We know, but it would still be hilarious if they did considering how bad both teams were this past season. And I’m an LSU fan

SEC 2024-2025 is more about volume..

It doesn't beat Big East 1984-1985, with three Final Four teams(barely missing a 4th in BC losing to Ark in Dallas), and an all Big East Championship Game.

Even most hardcore SEC fans that were alive back then would agree.

Before becoming SEC Hoops Guru..Mike Tranghese built the OG.

Conference play:
The one knock on the season was the SEC going .500 in conference play. You can't win 'em all.

The frick it doesn't. Part of the tournament is luck. If you get good matchups or if someone in your bracket gets knocked out that you don't have to play, it makes a difference in how deep teams can go. Putting 14 teams in the tournament and getting 23 wins is bad motherfricking arse! The SEC was 1 win away from having 3 teams in the final 4 and two wins from having all 4 teams.

The SEC was bad arse all season long, we didn't just have a couple of teams get hot in the tournament. Big difference.

Congrats, Gators. You were my pick to win it all. I don't think Alabama or Auburn beat you at all this year, right? And some of them were not particularly close.

I can admit when I envy things about other SEC schools. Winning back to back titles, one of which was in the same year as a Football natty is so impressive.

This win just builds on that.

Well done.

PS: suck it, Auburn. I'm glad you lost.
